Word 2007 Converter Error Message
Only one IMPORTANT document didn't make it to new hard drive-it's the only corrupted file. Hadn't tried to open it in WordPad so don't know if that worked or not. I've wondered I had some kind on DDE conflict, so I disabled DDE through registry editing and voalá! how to do it? navigate here

- I am on a very old windows xp version, 2000 does that have anything to do with it??
- But by just renaming the word document from .doc to .docx then opened the file it worked.
