I was able to use a windows 7 home premium family 3 pack upgrade disk to boot into repair mode and reset the password on a windows vista install. You can start Windows RE by booting the Windows Vista or Windows 7 setup DVD and then selecting "Repair" instead of "Install Windows."By the way, you can't use the Windows XP I could only wish to be good enough to have figured this out.0 Reply Matt 6 years agoDoes this still work?
