Wordpress Error Saving Media Attachment 3.5.1

This is what I see: Howdy, first name First name Username Edit my profile Logout This is how it is on top right of Dashboard. I never had any issues with this - until today. I always thought WordPress uploads content straight to wp-content in the root directory? Every slideshow plugin I have tried inserts the URL provided to the image to display it. http://isusaa.org/wordpress-error/wordpress-error-saving-media-attachment-iis.php

I looked at permissions of other directories but they all appear to be what they should be. It had a permission of 644 but the rest of the theme fiels had 664, so I changed it but no luck. I don't have the ability to change permissions on my folders, but I created it within the wp-content folder so wouldn't the permissions get inherited?
